A 21 year old motorcyclist was decapitated after hitting a guardrail in Johor Bahru, West Malaysia on 12th of October, 2014. The man’s name has not been released nor have an details about the circumstances of the crash but I’m willing to bet that speed was a factor. Although insane speeds do not need to be involved as a mere 65kph (40mph) is more than enough to cause fatal injuries.
Looks like it was relatively quick for the poor guy, though, and luckily no one else was injured or killed. I wonder what it’s like to see this for the first time as paramedic or EMT? You can look at pictures and video all day long, as well as being mentally prepared to the point of thinking that you can handle anything. Then to finally see it in person and to have to touch it, to hold it…that must be surreal. So any paramedics or EMT’s or firefighters who want to share the story of their first time at a brutal accident please, feel free to do so.
